Francez G. Urmatan

Fran’s foundations stem from four years of color guard in high school. After graduating high school, she coached the color guard at Diamond Bar High School for two years, primarily focusing on dance technique.

In the years she has been dancing, she has also been a part of a competitive hip-hop team, Natural St8 in Chino, California.  From there, she found a deeper-rooted love for hip-hop and movement.  Fran’s unique style consists of a fusion between hip-hop and contemporary movement, however she loves exploring different styles of hip-hop so no two classes are the same.

Aside from Hip-Hop and Contemporary, Fran also has been trained in Ballet and Jazz at Mount San Antonio College.  She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Dance and her goal is to become a professional dancer and choreographer.

Fran teaches Open Level Hip-hop on Thursdays, 9pm-10pm. $10 walk-in.
